		<description>Voting's a terrible example, there are too many ways to tamper with an all-electronic vote even if the software is OSS. What electronic voting really needs is a voter-verified paper trail and random recounts, end-to-end accountability. Whatever happens 'inside the box' no longer matters, as long as we can verify that the end result is correct.

There are better examples; Brazil, Mass., Governments having control over their own data. Developing countries being able to adapt the software locally.
